Usage: Draw some circles and select them, then run this script.
When a prompt appears, type in an optional value for the the connecting curves, then click OK.

Installing:
Select script you need and drop it to Illustrator Scripts folder.
For OS Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Presets\Scripts.
Restart Illustrator (if runned) and find updates in Scripts menu.
Use File -> Scripts -> Metaball (Arc) or Metaball
